JAM Productions
JAM Productions We are represented by two developers – John Kirkham (John C. Kirkham) and Mike Jones (Mike J. Maynard).
Before joining us, they worked on several smaller game projects and modifications, which gave them some experience in the field of first-person shooter development. Real underdogs our mission!
Their game was developed with the participation of Apogee Software, because JAM Productions there were no resources and experience for self-publishing.
And who is their opponent?.
Second duel participant*
Company Apogee Software, and their weapons, the game – Rise of the Triad.
What are you saying?? The company is https://goodwincasino.co.uk/login/ clearly larger and has more opportunities? This is unfair? Who said it would be fair? ? Otherwise we won’t be able to defeat Doom!
Rise of the Triad
Brief setting
The game takes place at the turn of the 20th–21st centuries (in the introductory video of the game it says “One Year In Future”, which can be translated as “next year” or “some year in the future”), on the island of San Nicolas, to which a special group arrived HUNT (Hhigh-risk United Nations Taskforce) with the task of conducting an investigation into the activities of a certain “Triad” – a totalitarian occult paramilitary organization that threatens humanity and is based on this island.
Apogee Software
Apogee Software, based Scott Miller in 1987, is known as one of the first companies to popularize the model shareware.
The company provided opportunities for independent developers to release their games through a model in which the first part of the game was provided for free, and further levels had to be paid for. Apogee has played a key role in supporting independent developers
Rise of the Triad, was originally just a sequel to Wolfenstein 3D called Wolfenstein 3D 2: Rise Of The Triad. inside ID Software (creators Doom), but was subsequently transferred to Apogee Software to complete development.
Rise of the Triad was developed Tom Hall and his team after he left ID Software due to creative differences. Apogee acted not only as a publisher, but also as an active participant in the development of the game.
Whaaa? Beat ID Software their own weapons? How dirty, but how cool!
Duel – sometimes this format will appear in Necrogaming posts. It will combine elements of review and humor to create an easy and fun way to compare games! This is something like a review of a product that does not pretend to be an exhaustive review.
Mechanics of "Duel"
Are the developers who were chosen as members "Dumerov"they will fight, waving their keyboards and lashing each other with patch cords? Or maybe they will program for speed while drunk? – No, give your imagination a rest – I’ll tell you now!
Latest development department – PIP PAD. We use it to simulate a fight. All we need is to set the parameters after testing the samples (testing will be carried out at maximum difficulty)
List of parameters that will be set after the test:
Gameplay dynamics: An assessment of the speed and intensity of the action, how quickly the game engages and how well it holds the player’s attention.
